  On June 10, 1942, in Czechia. Lidice Village was destroyed by Germans and all 173 men over 15 years were executed in reprisal for the assassination of a Nazi officer. Meanwhile, 184 women and 88 children were sent to Chelmno extermination camp where they were gassed to death. This Memorial stands overlooking the village to honour the murdered children.
